A history reminiscent
of times past
The history of Pastificio Defilippis begins in 1872, when Domenico Toso, chef of the Savoy family, returns to Turin and opens his workshop in via Lagrange n.39. The Defilippis family takes over the shop in the Forties, giving it the name it carries to this day, and runs the business in the post-war years.
Over time, the premises have been extended and refurbished.
In 2008 the Damilano family takes over the artisan pasta business and extends it with the addition of the restaurant and delicatessen, which marries innovation and tradition, and has become a reference for food lovers.

Artisan pasta since 1872
In our workshop we prepare a wide range of fresh egg pasta, with and without filling.
The choice ranges from the classic ‘ravioli del plin’, agnolotti, margherite and raviolis with a variety of seasonal fillings, such as fondue and truffle, non-meat based, walnut and gorgonzola, pumpkin or vegetarian, and many more.
We use carefully selected quality ingredients and fresh seasonal produce.
Experience, professionality, time, passion and ancient recipes handed down over generations
are also key ingredients of our pasta.
We also offer a wide range of dry, durum wheat, bronze drawn pasta for sale.

Our exclusive specialty, rigorously artisanal.
50 egg yolks per kg of flour; a distinctive filling prepared with
roast fassone piemontese beef, rabbit and pork, wrapped in a thin, velvety pasta.
We also reimagine ravioli with creative and contemporary
fillings based on seasonal ingredients.

Elegant and comfortable
Ideal for a quick lunch or informal dinner.
Open 7 days a week, it seats around 90 people in the indoor restaurant and
the outside seating area overlooking the elegant via Lagrange, in the heart of Torino.
The menu offers fresh pasta dishes and many specialties:
delicious traditional piedmontese and Italian starters, main courses and desserts.
Every dish can be accompanied with wines from the best wineries,
with a particular focus on the Piedmont region.

one of the most established and dynamic wineries in the territory.
The winery produces seven varieties of Barolo, including Cannubi,
one of the best-known crus, as well as a wide selection of classics,
such as the “Marghe” Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d’Asti, Barbera d’Alba and Dolcetto,
the perfect accompaniment to the traditional piedmontese dishes.
Damilano’s white wines include the new G.D. Chardonnay and the Langhe Arneis and,
to accompany our deserts, Moscato and Barolo Chinato.
